Biography
Anton’s career began in design and photo retouching, working with some of Johannesburg’s top ad agencies—until photography stole his heart. What started as a passion quickly became an obsession, as he dove headfirst into every genre, dissecting their technical challenges just for the thrill of mastering them. (Some might call it stubborn perfectionism. He prefers "artistic dedication.")
Over time, Anton honed his signature style, with long-exposure photography becoming a personal favorite. His experimental work even landed in an exhibition (Out of Uniform – Artists Working for the London Underground), later archived at the London Tate Gallery—a career highlight he still brags about at dinner parties.
Photography also led to unforgettable moments, like capturing celebrities such as DJ Fresh, rugby legend John Smit, the Mandela family, and media personality Jennifer Su. But Anton’s creativity didn’t stop there.
When AI exploded onto the scene, he saw an opportunity to merge his technical retouching skills with this brave new world of digital art. Today, he thrives at the intersection of photography and AI—whether blending real-life models with surreal digital landscapes or crafting entirely otherworldly visuals. (Turns out, years of pixel-perfect retouching make you scarily good at bending reality.)
With a mix of artistic vision, technical precision, and a dash of playful curiosity, Anton brings projects to life in ways that are as unique as they are striking.
